The Film School is New Zealand’s only film-industry based school.  We teach digital formats but our focus is on film, winning the Kodak Film School competition three times in the last seven years.  We provide industry-based training to a diverse group of local and international students of all ages, eager to enter the film industry.  They leave the school well-equipped for a life in the film industry, capable of acquitting themselves well on a professional set.  They can be found in all areas of the NZ film industry; now it’s time for them to take the world by storm.

Our superbly talented and highly trained students and graduates are already forging new ground in the New Zealand film industry.  They need your help to make it big on the international stage.   We are looking for connections with people you know in the film industry – producers, directors, cinematographers – who can give them opportunities on their projects.  They are trained in all aspects of film production and are happy to work for free if it will help open doors.
